A couple of weeks ago, I found myself able to read fiction for pleasure once more. Ever since law school, I hadn't been able to enjoy a good book, especially a novel. I forgot how much I missed it. I'm reading Dashiell Hammet's Red Harvest I'm also reading an eBook version of Michael Crichton's Prey I'm only a few pages into the story and nothing exciting has happened yet, but Crichton has set up something scary to occur, as only he can. I'm surprised no one has adapted Prey to the screen yet. At any rate, the topic of nanomachines as existential threat has interested me for a few months now, so I know I'll like the book. |
