In 01/02/2008 in my blog "Conspiring To Inspire Self Empowerment", I decided to log some of my own predictions based on intuition and some dreams I'd had.  I am updating it here as we move toward 2009 to see what has happened since then with regard to the predictions.

Predictions:
Now, since this is the time of year when various predictions by notable astrologers, intuitives, and even down-to-earth trend watchers are made, I will mention mine just to record my "feelings" for posterity.  I would suggest that you write down your intuitive feelings as an exercise in self-empowerment as well, no matter how strange they seem. There may be more "bonks" than "dings" (as Art Bell terms it) at first, but keep at it. 

• By the end of 2008, it will start to become news that people seem to be healing faster from both physical and psychological wounds. 
• There will be an attempt to shut down the election process just after the primaries, but it will backfire and perhaps only be delayed by a couple of weeks, during which time alot of heads will roll over the situation, leading to an effort to constitutionally "petition for redress of grievances" by overwhelming majority of citizenry.
• Out-of-the-box thinkers will jump in when the stock market experiences a near collapse and create an honest, fair system of stock trading, moving toward stocks that promote community, environment, and preserving natural resources and away from "war-machine" investing.
• The major "conspiracy" to emerge in 2008 will be the "conspiracy to inspire self-empowerment."  People around the world who have been quietly watching the world will come into the Light and inspire the masses to lay down their weapons, join hands, and work together for world peace with sovereignty. 
• Colin Powell will have a Spiritual experience and will "turn the tables" on the NWO.
• A blackout of all non-business Internet web sites worldwide will be attempted for a short time--just enough time to try to break the lines of communication amongst the people in an attempt to confuse and weaken the momentum of the Awakening.  Perhaps by July 2008. 
• TV and cable-company sales will decline dramatically, and a major news outlet will go off the air.
• American military personnel will organize en masse to "Protect and Defend the Constitution" right here at home.
• Reports of interdimensional "close encounters of the first kind" will rise dramatically, proving tangibly and beyond doubt that we are far more than what we have been led to believe.

These predictions are simply from musings and some are based on dreams.  We'll see.

(News to me, but then I stopped watching TV years ago.  When implemented, this could cause really unexpected "blowback" combined with the current mood against MSM).

Courageous soldier speaks out against the powers that be . (I don't know if he is the first to publically announce his "awakening" to the fact that his country needs him here at home....but he definitely will not be the last.)

Posted 01/25/2008: Transplant girl's blood change a 'miracle'  "The 15-year-old liver transplant patient is the first person in the world to take on the immune system and blood type of her donor, negating the need to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of her life. The phenomenon, which has been documented in the New England Journal of Medicine, has amazed doctors, who say they have no idea how it occurred." (Does this qualify for "faster healing"?)

Posted 02/04/2008:  Fourth Undersea Fiber Optic Cable Cut: "Cause? With public communications cut off in Iran and other Middle East regions, a geopolitical speculation is that cutting major undersea fiber optic communication cables is deliberate sabotage before some unknown upcoming event in the Middle East or elsewhere."

Posted 09/21/2008: Powell Disses McCain on Georgia " SESNO: So you're saying the Georgians provoked this?  POWELL: They did. I mean, there was a lot of reasons to have provocations in the area, but the match that started the conflagration was from the Georgian side."
"AMANPOUR: And some debate in the presidential elections has basically been, 'We are all Georgians now.' What does that mean? It's the same as was said after 9/11. POWELL: One candidate said that, and 'll let the candidate explain it for himself." [referring to McCain]. (Not exactly "turning the tables"....yet.

Posted 09/24/2008: McCain seeks to delay debate to focus on economy "Republican John McCain said Wednesday he is directing his staff to work with Democrat Barack Obama's campaign and the presidential debate commission to delay Friday's debate because of the economic crisis.'  (Is this a prelude to a canceled election???)
